Work experience
- 2020–2021: Internship in the biomolecular laboratory at the University of Cagliari to investigate the genetic profiles which may lead to celiac disease:
- DNA extraction from saliva samples
- PCR-SSP analysis to detect the genetic profile of volunteer patients
- evaluation of patients’ symptoms attributable to the celiac disease
- interpretation of the profile obtained to identify the predisposition of the patients to the celiac disease (no diagnosis)
- investigation of association with F.O.D.M.A.P. intolerance
- suggestion of eating plan that avoids dietary deficiencies, alleviates the symptoms and improve the patients’ life quality.
- 2016–2017: Internship at Ninewells Hospital in collaboration with the University of Dundee:
- investigation of biomechanics in amputee patients following diabetes type 1 complications
- gait analysis of patients with transtibial amputation wearing a prosthesis
- 2012–2015: Himalaya Gym: instructor, personal trainer.
