Dr. Cecaro is a senior Consultant Cardiologist specializing in heart failure, cardiomyopathies, regenerative medicine, and advanced imaging. He currently holds positions at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup, London and Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, where he serves as the clinical lead for heart failure.
Dr. Cecaro completed his medical degree with distinction (110/110 summa cum laude) at Bologna University in Italy. He pursued specialized training in Ferrara, Italy, under the guidance of Prof. Roberto Ferrari, the former president of the European Society of Cardiology. During this period, he gained invaluable experience at one of Italy's premier centres for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and cardiomyopathy.
In recognition of his research capabilities, Dr. Cecaro was granted a prestigious European Society of Cardiology Research Grant in 2010. Subsequently, in 2011, he relocated to the United Kingdom to undertake a Ph.D. program focused on the pathophysiology of heart failure as part of the esteemed European Doctor program "Doctor Europaeus".

Dr. Cecaro is an active member of renowned professional societies, including the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases and Cardiovascular Regenerative and Reparative Medicine.
His contributions to the field have earned him fellowship status with the Royal College of Physicians (London), the Royal Society of Medicine (London), and the Italian Surgical Echocardiography Society. Moreover, he maintains affiliations with more than 20 National and International cardiac Societies and Associations.
